What is Dyslexia?

Dyslexia effects 1 in 5 people and is a learning difference that leads to difficulties with accurate word reading and spelling.
It is characterised by difficulties in phonological awareness and difficulties with verbal memory and processing speed.
*It’s important to know that dyslexia does not affect a person's intelligence.

What is the assessment?

Assessment rates start at £450 for a Child's diagnostic assessment. More rates on Terms and Conditions.
This is a confidential assessment which involves a series of standardized tests around processing abilities, literacy and cognitive ability. Assessment can take place online or at Grove Dyslexia and last 2-3 hours. All the results are fully analyzed into a comprehensive report for the individual.
We work with schools, parents and employers to ensure practical recommendations are turned into action.
